The lovely ladies from National Trust Sutton Hoo’s textile group visited us in June. All volunteers, they have been involved in making contemporary dress for displays at the site, and for themselves, which has involved experimentation with dyes and fabrics and is still ongoing. A fascinating and engaging evening in which we learnt a lot and loved seeing their beautiful work.
