The Woodland Haberdasher, Fay Jones, came in July to tell us all about Dyes of our Doorsteps and how so many different colours could be made from plants and other organic matter. The same plant could produce further colours depending on which compounds were used in the dyeing process. Fascinating, and very beautiful!
