In November Carolyn James told us about her surprising journey from working in Safeguarding to becoming a patchwork and quilting teacher in her talk entitled “How did this Happen?” Carolyn showed us many quilts, from her earliest work to quilts that she now teaches in workshops. There was a wide variety of beautiful quilts that we got to look closely and handle them after her talk. A very enjoyable and interesting evening.
